But He knows the way that I take.
Job 23:10 AMPC "But He knows the way that I take (He has concern for it,
appreciates, and pays attention to it.) When He has tried me, I shall come forth
as refined gold (pure and luminous).
We have entered the winter season in the country when I live and it's often the
season where cold and flu viruses hit many people, including me.
I had been doing well, but suddenly, I found myself fighting flu symptoms,
coughing, and spluttering. I know the Scripture in First Peter chapter 2 verse
24: "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having
died to sins, might live for righteousness – by Whose stripes you were healed".
So in my quiet time with our Lord and Friend, I was saying Lord 'I know this is
the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I also know that
You have already prepared this day, with good works for me to walk in, even
though I don't have a lot of energy, I know You will lead me in Your plans and
purposes.'
1 Peter 1:5-7 TPT "Through your faith, the mighty power of God constantly
guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May
the thought of this cause you to jump for joy; even though lately you've had to
put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of
your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is
refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory and
honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.'
Thank You Lord. In all our trials and tribulations, it is our faith that is being
tested. For our Lord and Friend is with us; teaching us how to overcome in
every situation; His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Our
hope in Him is an anchor for our souls. When we walk though the valley, He is
walking right there with us because He has promised never to leave nor forsake
us. He is our Deliverer.
Grace and Peace.
