"I will exalt You, my God and King, and praise Your name forever and ever. I will praise You every day; yes, I will praise You forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure His greatness. (Psalm 145:1-3 NLT)
In the stillness of the morning, with raindrops on the window and blades of green, green grass, I see God. He is the One Who provides life to all. When I see the beauty unfolding after the rain, I see His Hands at work.
Today I give thanks for God's work in all things. My daughter is now home from her 30 day healing stay at the Cleveland Clinic. She is now waiting on a lung transplant. Three weeks ago, the doctors determined she needed a heart-lung transplant, but God decided differently. He has provided wisdom and healing in His miraculous way.
Because of God, once she has the lung transplant, her sick heart will heal itself…but we know it's really God doing the healing!
I'm human and I admit I had many fears and tears over the past few weeks. The one thing I learned is that the fear was not productive. Only giving it to God provided relief and peace.
We all can have the peace that passes understanding if we trust in God and all His promises. If we do, we will open our eyes and really see Him in all things. Like in today's morning after the rain.
