I've shown you some of the places where we spent a lot of time in July, but there were also really lovely spots where we only went for an hour or two. Rather than give each their own blog post, I thought I'd put all of my favorite photos here in one place, and just show you the highlights.
These trips include an evening at Belmar Beach, a lunch hour at Hillview Farm, an after work trek to the Great Swamp, a Saturday afternoon at River Barge Park, and Sunday morning coffee at Boonton Coffee Company.
You can click on each picture for a bigger view, and to get the details about where they were taken and what camera I used.
July was pretty photogenic, I think In particular, I love all of the ocean and river images. I've got my favorites set up as desktop backgrounds right now, so I can pretend I'm feeling a cool breeze off of the water while I sit inside at my desk.
These are all digital photos, taken either with my Canon EOS 80D, or my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
For a fun twist, I also took a film camera with me to all of these locations, and I filled it with Lomochrome Turqoise film, which made everything look so otherworldly and weird! I don't want to overload this post with too many images, so I'll show you how that went tomorrow. Meet me back here then!
So, how about you? Have you taken any short, close-to-home trips this summer?
