I'm at a busy time of life. Between family needs, home needs, and a roof repair from recent storms, I'm just wiped out most days when my head hits the pillow.
I haven't been finding much time to sew lately, and so I've been using those microwave moments. You know, those tiny blocks of time in between this or that. In between driving teens or finishing paperwork for things, or dishes and laundry. As you can see, this 82nd airborne quilt is being pieced in short bursts, medium size squares to be exact. Sometimes I'll sew in the evenings when I can't really muster energy or deep thinking to tackle other tasks.
With this catch all kind of piecing, I've managed to get the top almost together! My sweet husband, Doc, has asked to keep this one. I'm excited to get it quilted and bound for him! It will be the first larger quilt I've finished in months, which isn't like me. Busy times, though!
Hope you're having a good week!
Stacy
