Small caveat: Excluded are those who can show that a court hurt equality.
Included are those who claimed the courts have too much power. Period.
No official's above the law. Democracy need not empower anti-democrats.
Free speech, free movement, free assembly, free press, and the like are not stand-alone privileges. They come in a package deal with democracy.
You can't spread your disagreement with equality or the rule of democratic law and then run for or hold public office, or vote.
I'm sure the dozens of percent who think that autocratic rule is better than a parliamentarian democracy mean: when the guys rule whom I'd pick.
What makes Israeli democracy safe is that the police and the army are fully for democracy and serving the public, and not any autocratic leaders.
And some of the Right is moving in the direction of democracy.
