To test or not to test? That is the question.
My Flow app gave me a countdown: "Time for a pregnancy test in X days" followed immediately by "Unless your period starts today".
And the question lingers: Should I take a pregnancy test or should I wait?
I mean after all, I have PCOS and regular cycles have never been a thing.
I am overly stressed out with the combination of work and traffic.
I am getting a lot less sleep these last two weeks than I originally planned.
To test or not to test?
I asked Kevin about two days ago to buy a pregnancy test just in case and the test sits there as a not so gentle reminder that I have no idea of what's happening inside me. I could take a pregnancy test and get a negative result and it could confirm what I suspect - my cycle has either reverted to being irregular or disappeared altogether. On the flip side I can also take a pregnancy test and get a positive result and probably have the mini panic of "Did we really make the right decision?"
Either way, both results scare me.
Either way there's a 50/50 chance.
Either way there'll be some anxiety.
The Flow app reminds me that unless my period starts today, I should take a test in one day.
And if the test is negative, it means we're probably back to square one.
