Ælfbear Sep 3 They Said, by B.A.McNeely (Æelfbear Art & Muses) They said I was eccentric A spirit from the stars I'd save the world one day If I can only get that far The truth was I'm just me And now it's hitting hard Society itself is broken While I look to the cards I see struggle and inaction Too many sitting still While the powers hurt us As they claim it's our will I can't hold myself together I have to take a stand It's all just too much Existing in a dying land Now they're saying it's me Something not quite right In my understanding of it all While I cry to rally a fight Yeah, maybe there was truth To some of what they said I want to change the world We are all being mislead I'm not the one who's wrong Not something to be fixed It's the system that's poisoned We're just caught up in the mix Comment Like You can also reply to this email to leave a comment.
