Freelands Foundation Invites Applications to Autumn 2023 Round
Freelands Foundation offers funding twice a year as part of its work to broaden access to art education and the visual arts across the UK.
The Autumn 2023 funding round offers larger grants of between £50,000 and £150,000 per year for up to three years.
The funding is for projects that sit within a broad definition of visual arts. Organisations that include visual arts as part of their work, including heritage organisations and multi-arts organisations, may be considered.
The Foundation is hosting an online information session on 20th September (2pm to 4pm). Register to find out more about the opportunity.
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 12pm on 20th November, 2023.

Commonweal's Call for New Ideas 2023 Focuses on Criminal Justice System
Commonweal Housing, an independent social justice charity working to investigate, pilot and champion housing-based solutions to social injustice, is offering grants of between £5,000 and £10,000 to carry out a short-term feasibility study to evaluate a housing and support model tackling issues facing vulnerable individuals who have come into contact with the criminal justice system.
There is particular interest in project ideas from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME)-led and BAME-focused organisations.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on 29th September, 2023.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust Opens for Final 2023 Funding Round
The Trust aims to give grants to those in society who face the greatest challenges and whose opportunities are the most limited.
The current round is focused on projects relating to children and young people in care and care leavers across the UK.
Registered and exempt charities can apply for grants of £5,000.
The deadline to apply for this round is 30th September, 2023.
Austin & Hope Pilkington Trust Details
Government Launches £10m Suicide Prevention Grant Fund
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is inviting voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations providing suicide prevention services, activities or interventions that are free of charge to their service users to apply for grants of up to £750,000 through the £10 million Suicide Prevention Grant Fund.
The funding is to be used for running costs and cover small capital costs which are critical to the delivery of suicide prevention activities.
The deadline for application is 11.55pm on 1st October, 2023.
