People could not save themselves. God's grace had to bring salvation to lost mankind. This salvation was not discovered by sinners, it appeared to them via the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God in His grace sent His Son to redeem those in bondage of sin. This salvation is for 'all people' who receive it.
Salvation is not only a change in position {set free from the slavery of sin}, but it is also a change in attitude, appetite, ambition and action. The same grace that redeems us also reforms our lives and makes us godly. Being 'instructed by grace. We are discipline by God's grace, trained to be the kind of people that glorify Him.
Titus 2 Verse 11 and 12:
Verse 11: "For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people".
Verse 12: " And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God".
Grace Changes. Grace teaches, Grace instructs us to live in the plans Our Lord and Our Friend has for us. Jeremiah 29 Verse 11:
Because Grace reveals our creative purpose and the destiny we were created for.
Grow in Grace and Live in and what we were created for.
God Bless
