My morning began at 3:30 a.m. I wish the East Coast understood the time zone difference. I had gone to bed at 1 a.m. I had forgotten to shut off the ringer on my phone. The assisted living home is continuing to have issues. I ended up getting into the gym because I couldn't go back to sleep. Our dog now had a nice feature, she howls when the phone rings.
I canned another 25 jars of green beans. I froze 10 bags of Brussels sprouts. I made another 10 jars of salsa. I ended up canning another 50 jars of seasoned stewed tomatoes.
We had a surplus of eggs so I made 15 packets of assorted raviolis. I baked the weekly sandwich loaves and the English muffins.
Life continues to be stressful. My mother may be facing a rough medical diagnosis. I don't see any hope or chance that our relationship will improve with me or our children. One can only forgive and forget so many times. I am tired of keeping shutting my hand in the proverbial door and expecting it not to hurt. I made too many sacrifices that many family members didn't have the courage or the morality to make. There comes a time when enough is enough. I don't see my mother agreeing to me making the decisions for her. At this point in time, I think it is appropriate for the programs that are in place to take the pressure off me. I am willing to make input. When my neck is so stiff on one side that I can't turn my head, I have had enough. It is clear that I am headed into a migraine cycle if I don't get a handle on the chronic stress.
