So much for writing every day. I did write every day. So it counts. Just not posted. So here you go, not really writing, just show and tell.
I decorated Christmas today. Huh? What an interesting way to say it, as per the blue line suggestion. I mean I decorated for winter and Christmas today. Bins were opened and sorted. I try to not store anything that won't still be nice next year, but still, it happens. And then we must have music, Christmas music, of course. I found my favorite playlists on Spotify and Bluetooth-ed it from my phone to an external speaker sitting on the shelf above the coffee bar. All set.
The Thanksgiving pumpkins were opened and baked so that I have two packs of puree in the freezer now. Christmas pies, of course.
I love these simple little bells, red or gold tin bells handcrafted somewhere far away, sold in our store for a dollar and a few pennies. The pine garlands hold them perfectly.
The top of the china cabinet will have five or six tapers in holders ready for pretty table settings all through the winter. When I get them all collected, that is.
The horses need to be hitched properly to the sleigh. Who can help me? Dad Graber made this many years ago gifting it to me. We've enjoyed many peppermint sleigh rides at our house at Christmas time. My mom made the little table cloth. I realize that we have our own unique collection of Christmas things to pull out and enjoy each winter. What better way to gather up the memories of yesteryear and spread them around to collect more from each new Christmas.
