Hebrews 9 verse 14: "Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purity our conscience from sinful deeds so that we can worship the Living God".
The Old Covenant rituals could not change a person's heart. Only through acknowledging what Our Lord and Our Friend did for us on the Cross, and accepting what He has done, can we truly worship Him for ourselves, in Spirit and Truth.
John 4 Verse 23: "But the hour is coming and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship The Father in Spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him."
God is seeking people to worship Him, with all that is within them. A love and devotion back to Him because of His love bestowed on us. John 3 Verse 16: We must accept His love, so we can give back from the fullness of His love that is so freely given.
Worship is described as:
1. The act of revering and honoring a God, especially by ceremonies, rites or services.
2. A high regard or love for a person or thing. Biblically it's described as "The place of beginnings"
Psalms are all about Praise & Worship
PSALM 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before our maker. Everything begins with worship, great freedom is obtained through worship. God wants us to worship Him.
God Bless
