Philippians 4:8-9 "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."
God clearly wants us to consider all these things, and not just to consider them, but to live them. We can accomplish this by the renewing of our minds.
Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
The evil one is a deceiver and a liar, full of broken promises, and throws things at us that cause us heartache and pain, unrest and confusion, clouding our minds with negativity, doubt, confusion and misery.
May God's Grace and peace flood your heart. May His Spirit renew your mind. May He reveal to you His will, and grant you His strength and His peace, to live according to His will and purpose for you.
Dear Heavenly Father we pray that You will help us to ponder and act on all that is excellent and praiseworthy. Enable us to show respect and demonstrate grace, compassion and love to everyone we meet, and to show it with the measure we would like it shown to us. Father, You have blessed us with our families and loved ones, and we thank You. Please guide and protect us and our families this week I pray, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
