The children were happy. We spent some time on FaceTime with family and friends. I read countless books to our granddaughter on Marco Polo. Those are the sweet times we are blessed to spend with each other and our loved ones. There are so many in other countries are not so lucky.  It is wonderful to know that our family's spiritual needs are met not only at Christmas, but all times of the year. Holiday food management was the best I have done. I made things that the family liked. There was mindful leftover management.  Planning ahead to repurpose meal componets into different dishes. I am pleased that we do not have a ton of Christmas trash to put out tommorrow. I was very mindful in our purchases and choice of wrappings.
