What a wonderful time of year Christmas is. Even though most people do not know what is being celebrated, there seems to be a different feeling around.
Perhaps it is an expectation of what is being celebrated. Well lets get to giving away the real message of Christmas, this time by using the words of the wonderful Christmas Carol. "Joy to the world."
Verse 1 'Joy to the world! the Lord has come;
The mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace!
Let every heart prepare Him room:
The mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.
Jesus has came to change lives. Jesus the Creator of the universe, Who is One with the Father, and Who is also among other names the Prince of Peace.
Jesus came down from heaven to be born as one of us, with a mission to Redeem us from the curse of sin. Jesus wants to change lives of all those who are willing, because He also wants to be apart of our lives.
Imagine that people living in relationship with one another and the God that created them.
It would be a matter of imposing rules to live by, but they would be more like boundaries to live by. If we step over a particular boundary, we would automatically be repentant because of who we hurt, and particularly Our Lord and Our Friend..
That would truly be Joy to the world, and Our Savior would reign through our hearts.
We are all one in Christ. The price of humanity which Jesus came to pay the price for, would be revalued, as the self part of us died to let Jesus have His Place.
V2 "Joy to the world! the savior reigns,
the Mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace!
Oh, praise Him, flood, rocks, hills and plains,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.'
Share with somebody today 'Joy to the World'. the celebration and what the celebration is this Christmas time. Here is the rest of the carol;
V3'He rules the world with truth and grace,
The Mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace!
And saves us by His Righteousness,
the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace!'
Sing it, Share it, Enjoy it. Make this Christmas time a time of sharing and giving, just as Our Lord and Our Friend has freely given.
God Bless.
