For this cause I bow my knee
When I was a very young
Christian, I heard the above scripture in a song and I just loved it.
The song said, "for this cause I bow my knee, unto the Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, in Whom, the family, in heaven and earth is named."
(Ephesians 3:14-15). The song goes on to say "when I'm hungry, when
I'm lonely, when I am down, I will go to Him. He is waiting, and knows
my needing, even before I call on Him." This is truly the loving heart
of our Lord and our Friend.
As we approach Christmas, I think of this
song and reflect on the love of the Father, Who sent His only beloved
Son to earth, so that we could be reconciled back to Him. Our Lord
Jesus was born, fully man and fully God; He came to live and die and be
raised from the dead, in victory, so that we too could live in victory.

Corinthians 5:19 NLT "For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to
Himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And He gave us
this wonderful message of reconciliation." God – in Christ –
reconciling us to Himself – and to one another.
This I believe is
the 'good news of great joy'. Peace on earth, good will to all men.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Friend, is the Way to the Father.
O come let us adore Him. For He alone is worthy. Christ the Lord.
May
you and your loved ones be blessed with His wonderful peace and joy at
this time. His peace passes understanding. His grace is sufficient in
every circumstance. Holy Spirit is our ever present Help in time of
need.
Shalom. Kath
