Mollie Burkhart is the heroine and the victim of the greed stemming from Osage people discovering oil on their land in 1920's Oklahoma. Many of the Native women are marrying white blood. It is quite unsettling to see the grandparents at the dinner table commenting on the coloring of the children. Mollie is diabetic. She becomes one of the 5 people in the world to use it. Mollie watches her family murdered one by one. She decides to go to Washington to seek help from President Cleveland. It is a very slow movie, 3 and 28 minutes.
