Unfortunately, or fortunately, however you might look at it. The DC Universe or should I say the *Snyder-verse* comes to and end with the sequel to "Aquaman", "Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom". So just like "Shazam 2" and "The Flash" earlier this year, I'm thinking this movie is not going to live up to their first films and judging by the Previews, this is not looking too good at all.
*The MEAT* It is a story that will keep you interested if you like a lot of fighting action, but it does lack substance and any kind of surprises. Just fight scene after fight scene after fight scene, very redundant to say the least. Almost like they lost interest halfway through this film.
*The PATATOES* I'm not impressed with the acting at all here. Jason Mamoa needs to be careful because he seems to be not interested in the roles he plays anymore. It's very noticeable here when acting next to Patrick Wilson who is one of the better actors around and takes all his roles very seriously. I mean, he played the lead role seriously in "Moonfall" for crying out loud. Anyways, I think all around, the whole cast did a *Sub-Par* performances. Almost like they knew there was no chance of any more sequels.
*The VERDICT* Well, what can I say? "Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom" has plenty of action, has its share of humor and is not that bad after all. But it is also not that good and it's unfortunate that they end the *Snyder-verse* on this lame note. Almost like they didn't care to make this one memorable at all. So, because of that I do not recommend this film for theaters. Maybe worth a watch at home sometime when nothing else is on and you are too lazy to change the channel.
