For Sweet and Pork
1 cup pineapple
2 pounds of pork cut into cubes
1 green pepper
5 celery stalks
1 large onion
2 large carrots
1 cup vegetable broth
roughly chop the veggies and saute in oil. You will need 1 cup of vegetable broth
add the broth to a wok with the veggies, pork and pineapple
the sauce:
1/4 tablespoon of tomato paste
2 tabelspoons of soy sauce
1/4 cup white sugar
3 tabelsppons of honey
1 tablespoon of rice vingear
2 tablespoons of conrstarch and 1/2 cup water
Toss the above sauce into work. Bring to a boil and add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch into 1/ 2 cup water. Stir until thickened to your liking.
Th dumplings are a simple vegetable filling:
egg roll wrappers cut in half
in a food processor:
carrot chunks
cabbage
onion
Blend and lightly cook for 5 miinutes in a bit of oil . Soy sauce, ginger,a nd garlic
Fill your dumplings and pinch closed.
Panfry on both sides until browned.
add 1/4 cup of water and soy sauce with green onions. Pour over dumplings and cover for 5 mintues.
