| Taylor Soper Dec 1 | Seattle-based startup Levanta announced a $1 million funding round to help Amazon sellers ink affiliate partnerships with creators and influencers. - Founded last year, Levanta lets Amazon sellers create their own affiliate programs, recruit creators, generate revenue reports, and make affiliate commission payments. The marketplace has nearly 2,000 creators and more than 500 brands.
- The 8-person company launched in March and surpassed $1 million in annual recurring revenue this fall. It is profitable.
- Levanta is led by co-founders Ian Brodie, CEO; Rob Schab, CMO; and Spencer McKenney, CTO. The University of Washington grads previously led Grovia.io, which we grew to 26 employees and exited to a larger affiliate services company last year.
- Long Run Capital led the latest round. Other backers inclue OpenSky Ventures and Arrived Homes CEO Ryan Frazier.
