View all responses We live on the Western Slope of Colorado. We see many animals through the seasons. I have a large Eagle that visits our giant swing set, Eagles, Mountain Bluebirds, Blue Jays, Song birds, Humming birds, Ravens, and Crows to mention a few birds. We have a Prairie dog community. They are cute, but carry the Plague. Yup, they can bring the Middle Ages right to your door step. We have ground squirrels and chipmunks. We have a pack of coyotes that living on the back 40. We have foxes that prowl the property. We have moles. We have a Badger that was introduced to our community to reduce the Prairie dog population. We have snakes that creep around.
