We worked on the tiny house this morning. We have eletricity, water, and heat hooked up. We need to put on the porch tommorrow. I think we will be able to AirBNB by January. The kitchen is finshed. We have a livingroom and two sleeping areas. I have stocked the kitchen with dishware. We have a library and a televison installed. I found that we can rent the home for 145 a night. We do allow for an additional fee. I was able to furnish the entire house for 300 dollars using things we already had, bartering, making the furniture, and sewing the linen. We purchased towels, and a stove.
We have 8 quarts of goat milk that I am making into cheese.I am working on the week's baking needs. Tommorrow, I am cooking another turkey. This will work as lunch meat and several meals this week.
I am sewing another dog bed for Stella. She destroyed her bed after we came home yesterday. We had spent nearly the whole day yesterday out. She has been glued to my side most of the day. We decided to not keep the golden that was dumped at our gate. We rehomed him a few weeks ago. People do not realize or care that if a dog isn't neutered they will have sexual behaviors that aren't easy to deal with. He didn't keep that behavior to dogs, he was exhibting that behavior to his people. We had him neutered after we got him. No behavior changed.
One of our friends asked if they could have him, he didn't mind his behavior. Frank had lost his golden two months ago. Our dog and Frank would greet each other at the mailbox. They have always loved each other. Frank and our old boy have a lot in common, Frank always has a new girlfriend, he is one of those men. I smiled at him and told him the right woman is going to wreck you Frank.
Two large dogs in one household is a lot. Stella didn't take to him at all. Our lanky, goofy, lazy fellow didn't care to go for runs with me, he wouldn't sleep in his kennel. He wanted to sleep with us, but he is big, and sucking my hair didn't appeal to me. He wasn't a good fit for our family. However, he always loved our friend down the road. So, his off to his best life.
