I have had to call out of work for the second day in the past week. We got snow and freezing rain overnight Friday night, so I didn't feel safe driving to work Saturday. Out temperatures have plummeted and had gotten down to about 11° Fahrenheit Saturday. It's been below freezing all weekend. My neighborhood is tucked back off a semi main road, but it isn't plowed. So it's still an ice rink. I called out again this morning for my safety. I am scheduled off tomorrow since I am supposed to have a Dr's appointment, so I won't be going back to work until Thursday. We are supposed to get more freezing rain starting this morning and going into early tomorrow morning. The temperature is supposed to be steadily climbing through the day and overnight, getting up above freezing overnight and into the low 40's by the time the morning commute hits.
