Starting a new year, my mind wanders to the clearing of space and mind. There are so many things that are extra and unnecessary that can be eliminated. To remove things from one's life takes time and effort, and many times, emotional wherewithal.
One area of extra is around my mid-section. I could really use the elimination of the excess belly. I need to get on that elliptical or run in the morning or do yoga stretching. I need to adjust my caloric intake. To feel better in my skin is the goal. To look better in my favorite clothing and to boost my personal confidence. This is what I need.
Remove the extra
I'd like my office space clean. This is a dual project. Both at home and at work. I can appreciate a space that is free of clutter and extra unnecessary items / paper. To clear the clutter is a chore. I must take the time to file the bills and documentation needed for future use and remove and clear the items I no longer need.
Excess steps in my work life. I do not need any more busywork. We all have those checks and balances, but then there are those unnecessary extra steps. Those are pet peeves to me. I get annoyed by these
Remove the excess
Unnecessary thoughts and worries. These can be the doom of the day and are completely unrealized at times. Putting energy into negativity only brings us down. When those thoughts creep in, I want to identify and eliminate them.
Remove the thoughts
Unnecessary relationships. Putting energy into relationships that drag us down are also up for elimination. When someone has that energy, we can feel it immediately. sometimes, we just need to remove ourselves from the conversation before conflict arises. We are a product of the people we surround ourselves with.

It is time to remove the Unnecessary Excess
