The best way to work on kindness is to work on your soul, your character and using the infilling of the Holy Spirit more and more. There is no such thing as being too kind, bu there is such a thing as enabling for too long, someone whose behavior either needs to stop altogether, or at least to stop happening in our lives.
Kindness is an attitude, and at times God knows, what is deep down in our heart. We need to surrender to His heavenly promptings, and we need to come before Him and clear our spiritual filters, so there will be a continual flow of Him and His goodness and kindness in our lives.
The Fruits of the Spirit, are in Galatians 5 verse 22, as like all fruit, the juices of the fruit need to be extracted regularly. Fruit needs to be fresh, can't stay on the plant, it will fall off and be of no use. Fruit needs to grow, by being watered by His Word regularly, stunted fruit will not produce, what it was created for.
Kindness is one of the Fruits of The Spirit, and we can not be selective, as to what fruit we like to use. Like Patience is one of the fruit, and we need to use more times than we probably do.
We are ambassadors for His Kingdom, and we need to be models of His Grace to our families, neighbors, workmates and all non believers. Some of them may be hard nuts to crack, in our witnessing for Our Lord and Our Friend, but none the less Our Lord and Our Friend wants to bless them through us.
There are nine Fruits of the Spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness, Self-control, none is more valuable than another, the fruit we are highlighting is kindness. Kindness is a hard gesture to understand, in a dog eat dog world, but it can break down barriers, if we allow it to grow and be nurtured in and through our lives.
The meaning of Kindness, is simple: considerate, friendly or generous. A list of similar words to kindness are: Benevolent, Magnanimous, Thoughtful, Unselfish, Well meaning, which make it an amazing fruit.
Let finish with the word: Magnanimous: Generous, Forgiving, or Free from Pettiness. Maybe there are a few things we all need to take to Him. so Kindness can really flow through our lives.
God Bless.
