Transformation Continuing
There are 66 books in the Bible, they will all teach us something that will help us come to understand how much God loves us.
Ecclesiastes is no different and can be best understood by the final lines.
Ecclesiastes 12 Verse 13 and 14:
V13: "when all has heard, the conclusion of the matter is, 'fear God keep His commandments because this is for all of humanity".
V14: "For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil".
'For this is for all humanity', can be translated this is the end of a person. {that is a person's purpose in life}.
When Solomon looked at life, 'under the sun', everything was fragile, and he could see no pattern. But when he looked at life from God's [point of view, 'under heaven', everything came together into one whole.
If a person wants wholeness he or she must begin with God.
Six times in the writing, Soloman will tell us to enjoy life while we can, but at no time will he advise is to enjoy sin {wrongdoing against the created purposes of God for our lives],
The joys for the present depend on the security for the future. If you know Christ Jesus, as Your Lord, Your Redeemer, and Your Friend, then your sins have already been judged on the Cross, and so now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Him.
Romans 8 Verse 1: "Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus".
But if we die having never trusted Christ Jesus, you will face judgment at His throne. Revelation 20 Verse 11 to 15.
Whereas a believer can always approach His throne of Grace at our time of need Hebrews 4 Verse 16:
Ecclesiastes starts with everything is meaningless, points to with Our Lord and Our Friend we can be satisfied.
God Bless.
