| Homemaking in the Dunes February 7 | The homestead is gearing up for a rain storm. The high winds tore up our goat. pen. My husband spent the later part of the afternoon mending it. We bedded and fed the animals early. Stella's hot spot is beginning to heal up nicely. She is a bit upset she can't bed down with goat kids. She was fussing at the backdoor something fierce. We had two gallons of goat milk. I made goat cheese. I made 2 quarts of yogurt. 16 breakfast yogurt jars. A a gallon of blueberry coconut icecream. I baked a lemon glaze cake and pumpkin bread. The weekly bread baking of sandwich bread, dinner bread, and Engkish muffin took a good part of the morning. I paired these activities with the children's home school lessons. This week I knitted 7 pairs of socks. I pair this activity with televison at night. After the Super Bowl we are going on Media fast for 21 days. The evenings and weekend for the Fall and Winter have been full of football. The evenings will be quiet activities. I am planning my Spring cleaning and bedroom makeovers. I will be sewing curtains and new duvet covers. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
