Spring has sprung, and there are outside jobs to be done. We have a round of birthdays in the family to celebrate during this season. Speaking of family, there are quite a few family obligations and joys to be had! All that said to say, I haven't had much time to sew and quilt lately. Fridays are usually my quilting days, and I keep giving them away to others! Some seasons are like that, though, and I know quilting can wait! I did however work on a simple underskirt of sorts. I wanted to do a mock-up before using expensive materials, but I like the pink cotton very much! I added a lace edge, and an elastic waistband. It's cut to the length I need it to be, and I did some troubleshooting with my self-drafted pattern. Turns out I overcomplicated matters, so I can use a different method next time, noted on my pattern! It's always good to get a practice garment made and tested before working with higher cost yardage. I think I may make this in a linen fabric next time! I hope your Fridays is going well! Have a wonderful weekend! Stacy | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
