We had several pricey meals out. It is nice to hear your family say that they would prefer my cooking hands down. Our daughter had several headaches when we dined out. The best part was our son's sudden addiction to Starbucks on this trip. He loves an Oatmilk latte with matcha and lavender. It is not a plesant drink to look at, let alone taste. I digress. Our son spent 36 dollars on these drinks this trip. 9 dollars each. I sipped one when we returned to Grand Junction. Mind you, we waited 25 minutes for thing. I was very road weary. They kept calling an order for a lone milk over and over. I LOUDLY SAID, "I think she has graduated high school since she ordered it. " Yup, I certainly was a Karen. I commmented that I could make the drink at home in less time from scratch. It took me 9 minutes to make the oatmilk, lavender foam, and matcha from scratch and mix it. Cost: 1.25 for 24 ounces. My son lamented over spending so much money on these drinks. I asked him if he enjoyed them, he replied yes. Then, he asked how much my version was. I told him to drink it first and then I would tell him. He told me mine was better, the cost was certainly better. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
