Learning to Love The Word, it is a personal journey, with a personal invitation to follow Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend. John 3 verse 16: "Any 'whosoever can accept.
the Bible gets used and abused in many ways these days, most likely never gets taken off the shelf it is on in most homes, The Bible is The Word of God, in which we find His Love, His guidance, and His purposes for our lives.
The more we read The Bible, the more we will understand that in it God reveals, His way of Salvation {Redemption}, to all people from beginning to end. I would say I read the Bible, more now than what I ever have, I read it like a lot of people everyday, because I glean from it.
Circumstances around my life always, have brought me to a place, where His Word, is important to every part of my life. That is not because I have made it a crutch to lean on, it is one of the places where I have learned to lean on The God that created and loves me. any 'whosoever' can do that.
Rather than let my circumstances push me away, from His Word, I believe I receive, and He always wants me to get a deeper understanding of His Plans for my life. Jeremiah 29 verse 11:
This revelation, brought me to a real understanding, that He is The Rock of My Salvation, and Through Psalm 37, I was assured of this. It is not a long Psalm, I will just use some snippets, because it is like the rest of His Word, a wonderful study. It was in this Psalm I found my answer to. Why Lord, Why?. It spoke what I needed to learn.
V 5: "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act".
V23: "A man's {or ladies} steps are established by the Lord".
V31: "The instruction of His God is in his { or her} heart, his {or her} steps do not falter".
Summed up by the last 2 verses: Verse 39 and 40:
V39: "The salvation of the righteous is from The Lord, their refuge in a time of distress".
V40: "The Lord helps and delivers them; He will deliver them from the wicked and will save them because they take refuge in Him".
The Bible truly is His Inspired Word, for all our lives, learn to love it, read it immerse yourselves in it, and dare to live it, and the consequences of following after the plans, He has for 'Any Whosoever', who will answer His calling.
God Bless.
