Forever Yet To Go
-
When at last I see heaven's open door,
Then I'll walk upon that golden shore.
My praises are before Him as I bow low.
Wrapped in glory, with forever yet to go.
Upon His glorious face will my eyes gaze,
Of His loving mercy I will sing His praise.
I'll join with the saints from long, long ago,
Shouting of His glory, with forever yet to go.
I'll be singing Hallelujah to my Savior divine
When all around me I see God's love shine.
There will be no more tears, sorrow or woe,
Just forever in glory, with forever yet to go.
When at last for me those gates open wide,
Then I can stand by my loving Savior's side.
Free from sin's chains that bound me below,
Filled with Christ's glory, with forever yet to go.
