My husband understands that when I come out to weed, it country music. This is where the tongue and cheek compromise comes into play. He hates country music as much I hate weeding. It has been very windy on the Western slope and we had a pile of tumble weeds. I am not talking the cutesy cartoon ones, we had a wall of them. The wind caused our wooden fence to buckle. So, that too needed the four of us to fix the fence together. My husband was telling our daughter what it was like to court me, yes he used the word court. I was a professional woman who had a very clean car, expected people to be on time, and was a shopper. Then, we fell in love and moved out West to homestead. A pretty blissful life. We are finished the weeding of all 14 rised gardening beds. My hummingbrid feeders are up. The skies are a pretty pink as I sit on the front proch. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
