What would you do differently? A lot of people wished I would mind my business. If people are endangering their children or mistreating their spouse in public, I will say and do something. I have called the police a few times when people have been put of control. Sometimes, a kind intervention is all that is needed to defuse a situation, sometimes a lawful action is needed. A parent who is on the verge of losing it with her child in the grocery store, a simple nod with it is tough at this age or a bit of humor. Earlier this year, I witnessed a couple fighting with a young child being dangerous with a car. I was told to mind my business by a store employee to mind my business when I had called to the woman who was screaming at the woman to calm down, the police were on the way. I was calling the police because another woman was fighting with the woman. It was like the Jerry Springer show. I recorded the whole thing in my phone.
