I asked her what she remembered from the pandemic, and she recalled the time her kindergarten teacher sent home bags of special Halloween crafts and activities to her class. They made a smoking cauldron experiment together over Zoom while wearing Halloween costumes. I just love how beautifully resilient kids are. And of course, I just love teachers.
