I want to take a moment to talk about "This Magic Moment." You see, I have become a true fan of the Orlando Magic over the years especially since moving to Orlando. I have seen so much changes and disappointments with this team. I have noticed how there are some true fans like myself who are constant and not jumping on bandwagons only when they are doing well. I see that with the ups and downs the Orlando Magic have set a course in place to win.
I have family members who have taught me many things about the NBA and some of the things you see on the court. Whether it is the referee making a call, the coach calling for time-outs, the players strategically making shots and so much more. With this gained knowledge, it has helped me appreciate the game even more.
There have been some moments when I saw the Orlando Magic doing really well and in the playoffs like in 2019. However, we did not get past the first round with the Toronto Raptors at that time. It was exciting to see them in the playoffs then.
Now let's discuss, "This Magic Moment." I want to express how proud I am of all the hard work I see the Orlando Magic doing. I feel as though I have seen them grow. I love that though there may be some who might not have thought much about this team, which keeps them under the radar, you seem them doing so well throughout this season and now this 2024 playoffs.
I appreciate seeing a team playing as a team and not relying only on one superstar to get them to win. Each time I have watched them play, you see them step up and trust each other as they pass the ball. There are some who I would say are playing like "superstars" and they understand that their drive encourages everyone on the team. I will not include stats and comparisons in this post because this is more about this team in general. I appreciate coach Mosly as he leads this team. Some of the main starter players consist of Orlando Magic Power Forward Paolo Banchero, Small Forward Franz Wagner and his brother Orlando Magic Center Moritz (Moe) Wagner, Orlando Magic Shooting Guard Jalen Suggs, Orlando Magic Point Guard Cole Anthony, Orlando Magic Power Forward Jonathan Isaac, Orlando Magic Shooting Guard Gary Harris, Orlando Magic Point Guard Markelle Fultz, Orlando Magic Power Forward Joseph (Old man Joe) Howarth Ingles, Orlando Magic Center Wendell Carter Jr., Orlando Magic Point Guard Anthony Black and other second unit. I also want to mention the mascot "Stuff" who makes every single game so much fun.
I wanted to share "This Magic Moment," with each of you because I am really excited to see my team do so well. I love that we are in the NBA playoffs and that we may possibly be in the finals this year too. It has been wonderful getting to experience the at home Orlando Magic games and seeing and hearing the fans roar in the Kia Center shouting the slogan "EverybodyIN," and let's go Magic. Ready to see you keep going higher.
Now share with me about your favorite team and if you have been able to attend their games and how was your experiences. Has your team played in the playoffs and/or finals too? Thank you for taking moments with me. I love getting to share a little about what we call "O" Town.
