Transformation Continuing
The Book of Psalms contains favorite hymns and prayers, which were used in and continuing to be used in worship to Our Lord and King.
When we read and study the psalms, we meet with joy and sorrow, tears and trials, pain, and pleasure, but the book closes on the high note of praise.
The Chapters open with a certain kind of person {The Godly} who delight in the law of the Lord, and closes with a challenge to everything that breathes, to sing praise to God.
The final {Psalm says to God's person, life is worth living for God. And the final Psalm says to Gods' people. "Don't worry this is the way the story will end. We will all be praising the Lord.
God wants his people to pour their hearts out to him, the proof of His desire is in the existence of the Psalms. There are 150 songs of diversity in the Psalms, in which God's people cry out to Him for help and to rescue them from the wicked and praise Him for His goodness.
In the praise and worship and reflections, it is obvious that God values being in relationship with His people.
It is amazing but no coincident that Psalms is the longest book in the Bible. God's people praise and worship is what Our God desires, and He wants us with all that is within us.
From the valleys of life to the high places of life, the writers would always arrive at the conclusion God is good, He has plans for all of us and the plans are good. Jeremiah 29 verse 11.
The Book of Psalms shows that God doesn't want to stand on the outside of the emotions and events of our lives, He wants to be with us in everything. Being honest with Him in our travels through life is a wonderful part of drawing closer to Him, and that is one of His longing desires for all who choose Him.
We may have to make a hard decision or act with courage in a situation, but spending time in The Psalms will prepare us to recognize Our Lord and Our Friend no matter what circumstances we may face.
God Bless.
