The Malaysian woman, Lin came on flight last Christmas, was suspected of trafficking 685.13 grams of heroin in her sneakers, in two separate packaging, with the black market selling price of at least three million dollars N.T. As Lin entered through customs, the customs officers found something odd, stopped her, and the illegal substances were, found, the Taoyuan D.A.'s Office indicted her on trafficking level one illegal substances, drug smuggling charges.

The indictment pointed out, the thirty-two-year-old Lin was told by an unknown male, A of a drug trafficking cartel, and the WeChat individual nicknamed "Cookie", trafficked the heroin from Malaysia to Taiwan; "Cookie" told her to meet him at the LeQuadri Hotel at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia first on December 24th of last year, where A gave her a pair of sneakers with the insoles of bags of heroin on it, along with the Malaysian Ringgit amount of 4,800 to her.
Lin stated, the following day, she'd put on these sneakers with the insoles of heroine, took the morning flight of Malaysian airline MH-366, came to Taiwan. The flight landed at 4:28 that afternoon, and when Lin was checked by the customs for arrival, she was found by the customs officers to have something odd in her sneakers, and she was, pulled out, after the Justice Department's Taoyuan City Investigation Department's checking, the investigators found two packs of over 600 grams of heroin in the insoles of her right shoe.
During the investigations, Lin admitted to trafficking the substances, and there were the records of arrival of Lin, her communications with the man, A, Cookie, and others as evidence. The district attorneys stated, that Lin was completely truthful in the interrogations, admitted to trafficking a level one controlled substance, that if in her trial, she'd also, admitted to this honestly, they will recommend to the courts, to reduce her sentence.
Yeah uh, I really don't know WHAT this is: either enticed by the offers of huge sums of cash, or just, simply being, STUPID, or maybe, you were, expecting to get caught, who knows??? And, this still just showed, how Taiwan is now, an ISLAND of CRIME SPREES, with the drug traffickers, the scam artists, running, loose.
