One of the money saving and zero waste tricks I am using is treating my kitchen as my weekly shop for ice cream, ice pops, and drinks. I mix up what I need for 7 days. It saves time and reduces waste. I meal -prepped the lunches for the next week. Our days are gearing up for the new home steading year.
Music we are listening to this week is Primrose Hill, Daisy Jones and the Six, Aurora, and a lot of 80's music.
Books I am reading:
James a new take on Tom Sawyer
New Cold Wars
Dorothy Day: The World will be saved by Beauty
Projects:
Finish sewing my Spring and Summer Capsule wardrobes
Finish planting my herb beds
New church
Record bowls
Finish planting the garden beds
Stagger greenhouse plantings
I went to pottery class with our daughter tonight. We made very large bowls.
I made another batch of herbal migraine tea. It doesn't taste that great, however, it works.
Meal planning for the next week for lunches:
pumpkin raviolo with sage butter
budda bowls
chicken tortilla soup
grilled panni press sandwiches
asian bowls with dumplings
DInners:
BBQ chicken over rice, fruit, and broccoli
Pasta salad, ribs, tossed salad, fruit

Shepherd's pie, tossed salad, fruit
Corn chowder and grilled cheese, fruit
Vegan burgers, sweet potato fries, pineapple
