I went to 3 high schools before I graduated. I went to two hgh schools. I settled in my 3rd in 10 grade. I did graduated top 5% of my class. I learned to just walk up and talk to anyone. The defining moment was my first day at 3rd high school. I was sitting in Biology class, I had come iin 2 weeks late into the term. I had done all the reading. I was that student who had a look and it didn't fit what was always coming out of my mouth. Meaning, I always knew the answer. I am stitting in class all dolled up. This girl shoved me off my stool and I hit my the side of my face. It cut my face. I was livid and I slapped her hard right acrosss the face leaving a red mark. She shoved me and I hit her again. My father was called and he came to school. He told my principal that since the girl started it, she should be punished and apologise to me. My father argued with the prinicpal for over an hour. I wasn't punished. I did get a reputation that most Honors class students didn't get, that I would hit someone back. She tried to bother me because she had been forced to apologize. We still do not like each other to this day. I go to reunions and she is still a very rude human being. High school for me was getting the best grades I could. I would play my sports. I enjoyed being fashionable. My close friends were in Maine. I didn't form close friends in the high school that I graduated from. My dad died in the middle of my 11 th grade year. That year was riddled with taking care of my sister and the house. I was also taking AP classes and working part-time. So, high school was a means to an end. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
