We live in a hot, arid high desert of the Western slope. We are always doing outdoor activites. I am always looking for ways to keep everyone hydrated. I have 30 of these bottles of different sizes. I have had these bottles for 5 years, so they have paid for themselves. We used to have bags of returnables.
Tonight, we made natural ginger sodas in the 4 oz bottles. It is simply grated ginger, sugar, water, and yeast. I made 10 bottles. 22 cents a bottle
I made 10 bottles of cucumber/mint infused water. 10 cents a bottle
10 bottles of coconut water. Cost per bottle 45 cents
I mixed coconut water with orange fresh juice, salt, honey, lemon water, and water. Of course, it still contains sugar. It has less junk than sports drinks. I made 10 bottles in about 6 mintues.
I also made a bottle of oat milk, lavender syrup for the kids favorite Macha Starbucks drink. Cost per drink 1.17
Every 3 days I make various drinks to keep everyone hydrated. Of course they drink plain ice water as well.
