Dear Snarky,
I just found out my mother has started dating my ex-husbands father and I'm disgusted and so angry. My ex and his family dragged me through the mud in our divorce. It was horrible and my ex's dad was the ringleader of making me go through hell.
Now a couple of months after my divorce was granted my mom is now dating the POS father of my ex. What the hell?
I found this out when my mom posted a pic of her and my ex's dad on social media kissing. I almost threw up.
When I confronted her about dating a man who tried to ruin her daughter's life she said. "It should all be water under the bridge and I need to let it go." Then she told me that just because the "family hated me" doesn't mean they don't love her."
I can't believe this is for real. I'm thinking of going no contact because What mother would do this?

Dear FML,
Your mom sucks and you have probably known this for a very long time. I'm sure there is a long list of hateful acts she has perpetrated against you.
This is why I (not a therapist and I suggest you seek help from one asap) wholeheartedly endorse going no contact. You need time to heal, grow and live a life that's not punctuated with premeditated hurtful acts from your mother who most likely is a narcissist.
I'm also going to venture a guess that your ex father-in-law is playing your mom just to torture you and this whole dating scenario won't last long. This is why you need to establish the firmest of boundaries so you can be free of toxic relationships with both your ex and his family and your messed up mother.
