Every time, we have tried to go, we haven't been able to go. We found a place to sit. I was expected a solemn, quiet, and sacred space. The couple in front of us were widly loud, and bickering. I was unable to most of what was being said. I found it rude and fustrating. I am never one to leave things alone. I went and tattled to what I assumed to be the head monk. He took my hand and said to me, " Your lesson today is PATIENCE. " I smiled and expressed, " It caused me great suffering. I smiled at my husband he knew that I really wanted to say something to this couple in frount of me. There was a time where people would attend an event like and be quiet. We were blessed to watch the intricate patience making of a mandala. As we were leaving, another woman asked what the monk and I were talking about. I told her I was tattled on the loudness of the couple in front of me. She said she was annoyed by the young children running around. We all have different ideas of stillness as we look beyond ourseves. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
