Opportunity Sheffield, the Council's Employment and Skills Service has published its annual Social Value Report based on monitoring data from its construction contractors, and the engagements made with potential employees and apprentices.
The report details the different groups engaged with between 2023 and 2024, including successful in-school engagements. However, the report reflects the demand from a range of demographics at all stages of their employment and education journey.
It also contains highlights and achievements from the year, including projects that have added social value to Sheffield and events to encourage greater equality, diversity and inclusion within the construction industry.
