Never have there been so many tools available for serious Bible study, and we are3 gr4ateful for them. However, The Word of God is unlike any other book, we must be on good terms with the Author is we are to learn from what written. Too many believers have only academic head knowledge of the Word, but they do not know how to put this knowledge in the decisions of daily life.
Psalm 119 verse 104: "I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every false way".
Do we, do we really hate false ways. That is not a judgement call, it really our response to God's love for us, and our love back to Him.
Whatever our approach to life is, either from Christian revelation, or from scientific fact, we should come to the conclusion, life works best God's way.
God's way is a natural way to live, this could be disputed because of what sin does. Sin is natural to the fallen nature. But the Christian life. through genuine repentance and forgiveness, provides us with the supernatural energy to rise above the natural. One could put our new life in Christ Jesus allow us to be supernaturally natural, and the natural way to live is God's way.
We gain understanding from His Word. because His Word is Life.
Therefore anything that doesn't line up with His Word, is not something we should avail of.John 10 Verse 14: Our Lord and Our Friend saying:
"I Am The Good Shepherd, I know My own sheep, and they know Me".
The Good Shepherd know all about us, have we really taken the time to know Him as we should. Remember we gain understanding from His precepts, by taking the time to know Him more, we will hate the falsity of life.
Our Lord and Our Friend doesn't tell us these things not to be a party pooper, He assures us over and over again, His ways are higher than our {Isaiah 55 v8}.
Lets turn to live for Him, more and more, understanding more and more of His precepts so we can be supernatural ,natural to a fallen world.
