The work will go into tomorrow. I am not pleased. I am not pleased with people using the bathroom. I walk into a Picasso-streaked toilet. The workers have left trash everywhere. There hasn't been much work done between yesterday and today. Yesterday, they had a crew of 2. Today, they had a crew of 6 and gotten even less work done. The last worker came in and was the toilet user. 30 minutes later all work, stopped. I was furious. My fury grew deeper as the contractor and one of his crew members gossiped in my dooryard like old ladies. My husband and I are very different. He is way more easy-going than I am. I was ready to fire them when they didn't show the first day. I was up even earlier today because they were supposed to be here at 4:45 am. They came strolling up at 6:45. "Work" started at 7:15 and ended at 11:45. Our neighbor needs a new roof and has been watching all this. They aren't going to use them. I ended up editing my novel and doing the needed housework. I saved the bathroom for my husband, I warned him the job was his if the workers used it. Dinner tonight is pasta sauce from the freezer, salad, and garlic bread. I am so exhausted from day. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
