There is righteous anger and purposeless anger. My husband and I were discussing anger because he gets angry when driving. This roofing project and the aftermath filled me with righteous anger. The tricky thing about anger, the initial flame of it makes you feel justified blinding you further into fury. There are times when there is little you can do when things happen. 90 percent is how you react to it. Sometimes, when you are pointing out a flaw in others, your finger boomerangs you in the eye.
Our gate is still not fixed and the roof still leaks. It is time to stop talking about it and take legal action.
We are almost done replanting half the ruined garden beds. We should be finished planting by Tuesday.
I made up another batch of sourdough starter. I also made a batch of sourdough starter the traditional way. I want our daughter to be successful in making sourdough and that starts with a good, powerful starter.
Survey work and product test income for April and May was 1000 dollars. I am no longer doing product tests after receiving too many wasteful products to test.
I received 3 cookbooks to try and review today. I will be sharing these after I post my reviews and the recipes I select.
I baked banana bread and cookies for the week. I baked the daily bread and English muffins. I made a week's smoothie packets and breakfast sandwiches. I made a bunch of waffles and pancakes. We have a lot of work that needs to be done in the mornings, this will make mornings easier.
Monday morning, we are fixing the gate. I refuse to have a locked gate at night. My husband and I built that gate together.
I sewed another wrap dress for a party we are going to. I made a necklace and earring set of super 7 crystals.
Our new chickens are getting bigger every day.
Life is good, even with the bumps in the road.
