Something SHOULD be learned, from these, young choir members, who sing their songs together in harmony, with both Palestinian and Israeli performers, trying to, make the music, perfect…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
From the Hamas attack on Israel on October seventh, 2023, causing the severe fatalities and injuries, the following day Israel declared war, and used an even worse mean of attack, the bloodshed started gaining momentum, it'd been six months to date, there's still NO signs of a ceasefire.
The Jewish and the Arabs had been on bad terms for a whole of one hundred fifty years on end, in 1881, the Jews who'd been exiled for a whole of two thousand years, for the very first time, migrated back to the origin of their race. At the start of the twentieth century, Great Britain had promised to assist the Jewish population to set up a "home for their race" in the area of Palestine, with ninety-percent Arab population. Afterwards, came the genocide of World War II, which sped up the Jews' escaping Europe, returning to their homeland, and, the Jewish finally was allowed to set up a country of their own back in 1948, and the following year, the country was admitted as a member of the U.N., gotten "certified" as a country by the world. And yet, the Israeli-Arab, the Israeli-Palestine conflicts didn't stop there.
This time the Israeli-Hamas Conflict, served as an inventory for the roles of the bystander countries, the international relations, the roles the countries played, all started, showing, that delicate, change, there were the supportive of Hama that criticized Israel severely, like Qatar; the supportive of Israeli, to adjust the military power settings in the world, like the U.S. A "conflict" of another country, reflected the many, calculations of the countries not directly involved, and all started from their own, benefits, and none of it was for the sake of justice, or what's, right. In recent days, the U.S., which prided itself on democratic means, sent the massive police forces into the U.S. campuses to arrest the protesting students for the Palestine cause, and the means they'd used, was also, thrilling as well. The violence of the Hong Kong anti-extradition movement back in 2019, all are well aware, that the forces behind the movement was from, the, U.S.
the man, Micah Hendler, on how he managed to, bring these cultures who hate one another, together, to sing in, harmony, off of YouTube...
In the harshness of the fires of war, a choir group composed of younger Israeli and Palestinian generations, they had a different history and life experiences, when they were in rehearsal, they used three different languages: Hebrew, Arab, and English, and yet, they all, combined with one another well in one choir, using their songs to sing out their hopes and dreams, expectations of peace, and harmony. The founder of the choir, Micah Hendler, began the choir back in 2012, in hopes that through the musical training, the traditional choir meets, to set up a new group that can, merge the varied political stances. And now, as the fires of war raged on, this group of younger generations of Israelis and Palestinians, are hoping to sing out their songs for peace.
Many a year ago, I'd gone to Israel, naturally, I'd, visited Jerusalem, and the city is divided in half, with a half, ruled by Palestine, the other, by Israel, I saw the Palestinian soldiers who used the rifles and weapons, also the faithfully worshipping Jewish population, all living in this, holy city, and I'd, felt the scary balance between the Israeli and Palestinian cultures. This group of young choir performers, were from east and west of Jerusalem, in the same city, but, at opposing ends to one another, they can't choose the sides, but can choose to use tolerance, and love to interact with one another, through the choir performances, the conversations, breached that huge gap, dissolving the hatred their culture had for each other, to heal up the traumas, using music to deliver the visions of peace and hope to all.
In the interview with a Palestinian member of the choir, the individual stated, we originally didn't share any beliefs, and it takes a ton of courage, while we can't, change this, ugly, world, but we can, establish a peaceful interaction between ourselves and each other. Micah Hendler stated, there's NO winner in this war for Israel and Palestine, the only winners are the extremist, and the civilians are, the one who are, shouldering the most in the, losses.
There's not a shortage of hatred, of war in this world right now, what we're in dire need of is letting go of the hate, having more tolerance for one another, loving each other, although we have different cultures, customs, and perspectives, but only love will, carry everything, block out, all that's, bad. I hope, that here in Taiwan, we will stop, attacking each other, because we have a difference of belief systems, to let go of our, prejudices, to learn to love one another, to tolerate each other, that way, there will be, real peace real, harmony, like in the choirs, the four parts in synchrony, became one huge, harmony, becoming, music to the ears.
And so, this is the hope and prayers for, peace on earth, but unfortunately we live on EARTH, where there's the FOUR horsemen of the APOCALYPSE, running around loose (famine, strife, death, war???) right now, and, until every one of us, can get it into our heads, that hey, we are all one of the same, the only RACE that matters in the HUMAN RACE (or if you like, DOGGIES, as I would much prefer!), then, there will always be war, because the politicians will always be, manipulative, and the opportunistic countries (still not naming names here: U.S., and other European "justice servers" of the world!), out to make a killing, from the trials of other countries. Because humans ARE, BAD, because we can't see the BIGGER picture, we still, get our heads, STUCK up our, separate asses, only considering what benefits ME first!!!
