Transformations Continuing:
John 15 Verse 14 verse15: {Passion Translation}
Verse 14: "You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you".
Verse 15: "I have never called you 'servants', because a master doesn't confide in his servants, and servants don't always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I've heard from my Father".
Beloved, I am your Savior and Lord, yes, but I am also your Friend. I enjoy spending time with you and hearing about the things that are on your mind. I love laughing with you, creating with you, working with you, and being by your side when you rest.
I am involved in your life. I see every moment of your day. I know what makes you tick. I even love your personality---I gave it to you, after all. I will give you all that you need to grow and become more like me. I don't pull away from you when you neglect me, nor will I ever reject you. I will not judge you based on your weakness but cheer you on and remind you of who you are. I can do more than encourage you when you're having a bad day—I can infuse you with strength and wash away your weariness with my smile. So come and enjoy the sweetness of our friendship, and I will share the secret of my heart with you. {A snippet taken from a book {I Hear His Whisper written by Brian Simmons and Gretchen Rodriguez }
My Lord and My Friend is what our ministry is called, God is more than that -we should add My Lord, My Redeemer, and My Friend. No number of words can really bring meaning to the Awesomeness of Our God.
Our Awesome God Who created us for fellowship with Him, but sin {wrong-doing} separated us from Him. We were created with a purpose of fellowship with Him, but He gave us free choice to accept Him or reject Him. To accept Him because of the great love He has for us through dying for us on the Cross, allows us to have fellowship with God again.
God Bless
