So, we were 3 minutes from home. Well, someone reported to the town that we were having work down on our house. Well, the report was because of contractor drama, let me tell you contractors are worse gossipers than women. So, long story short, our builder was working without a building permit. Well, as everyone well knows I have had enough. I looked at my husband and said, "This is it, I am calling the contractor right now. I read him the riot act. The code inspector could hear me through the closed windows. Up to this point, my husband had requested that I let him handle it, honestly, it was making me very angry. So, I came out with the phone on speaker and the code inspector told him that HE DID need a building permit.
