I have made 5 batches of kombucha. It was lovely until I noticed an odd smell in the kitchen. I made this batch on the 24th. I made it the same way I have been making it, only this time I used a different brand of black tea. I examined it and my scoby was full of mold. I threw it away. So, for the rest of the summer, the kombucha production is closed.
